We started seeing it on our own bikes: excessive wear on the part of the chainring that faces down when descending.

We realized the issue was the chain dropping off the bottom of the chainring, then slapping back up and chipping away at the teeth. This creates unnecessary noise and speeds up wear.

So, we designed the Under Guide, a handy little piece that plugs right into your OneUp Bash Guard. It’s made from a tough but quiet Thermoplastic Urethane. Keeps your bike running smoothly without adding to the noise. It keeps your chain aligned, makes your bike quieter, and helps your expensive components last longer.
