The 1987 Groupset is a limited edition collection that celebrates SRAM's heritage in the cycling industry. Inspired by vintage aesthetics, featuring the highest quality contemporary engineering SRAM can offer, this groupset certainly isn't cheap - or easy to get hold of for that matter!

What's included?
This special edition groupset includes a chain that features hollow links, hollow pins, and a hard chrome coating, with custom engravings with the handwriting of SRAM founder, Stan Day, as well as the unique groupset serial number. The derailleur is a combination of the XX SL and the XX, blending the best of the weight and best of the durability to make one hell of a derailleur. XO cranks are paired with SRAM's XX SL spider-based power meter and only available in the 170mm length. The cassette is said to be 25 grams lighter than SRAM's top-tier XX SL cassette - soooo XX SL-SL?
It comes with a matching set of AXS pod controllers making it possible to integrate any other SRAM wireless technology into your dream bike builtd.
The kit also includes 34 and 32-tooth threaded chainring options; the required threaded chainring removal tool; a 4-Battery AXS USB-C charger; and a spare AXS battery.
