Norco Team DH - Blueprint for Speed
Born from Racing. Raised to Win.
A World Cup developed downhill bike with 200mm of travel, a new six link suspension platform and meaningful setup adjustment for riders chasing more speed and control.
Norco started with a blank page and built the Team DH around one objective: speed. Developed on the World Cup circuit alongside the Norco adidas Race Division, the new platform focuses on predictable suspension, balanced handling and the ability to fine tune the bike for the rider and the track.
With 200mm of travel at both ends, mixed 29 inch front and 27.5 inch rear wheels, five frame sizes and Norco's new patented HVP6 suspension design, the Team DH is built to stay composed at speed, hold its line through rough terrain and give riders the confidence to keep pushing.
Developed Between the Tape
The Team DH was developed through five years of racing, repeated design changes and hundreds of test days. World Cup winners Greg Minnaar, Gracey Hemstreet and Danny Hart all contributed feedback, giving Norco a broad range of rider input across different tracks, conditions and riding styles.
That race development matters because a downhill bike has to do more than absorb impacts. It needs to remain predictable under hard braking, track accurately through repeated hits and let the rider stay centred when the trail gets steep and fast.
The Key Numbers

What HVP6 Means on the Trail
HVP6 is Norco's patented high virtual pivot six link suspension platform. Its consistently rearward axle path helps the rear wheel move back and away from square edged impacts, allowing the bike to maintain speed and stability through rough sections.
An idler manages the chain growth created by that axle path. Norco has also tuned the braking behaviour to manage weight transfer while keeping the suspension active, helping the rear tyre continue to find traction when braking hard into steep or technical terrain.
Dedicated shock actuating links give Norco greater control over the leverage curve. For the rider, the goal is straightforward: usable grip early in the travel, support when pushing into corners or compressions, and predictable bottom out resistance deeper in the stroke.
Adjustability That Changes the Ride

Progression adjustment
Flippable chips at the shock eyelets provide two leverage curve settings. The P plus position increases progression by approximately 2.5 percent for added support deeper in the travel. The P minus position provides the more linear setting for riders prioritising sensitivity and access to full travel.
Anti squat adjustment
Interchangeable idler mounting plates provide AS plus and AS minus positions. Moving to AS minus reduces anti squat by approximately 20 percent, allowing riders to tune drivetrain response and pedal feedback without changing the core suspension layout.
Reach adjustment
Each frame size has three reach settings. Riders can run the centred cup at zero, or flip the offset cup for minus 5mm or plus 5mm. That gives racers useful room to adjust cockpit length and front wheel weighting without moving to a different frame size.
Fit and Setup for the Rider

Norco offers the Team DH in five sizes and uses size specific rear centre lengths to keep weight distribution and control more consistent from smaller to taller riders. The frame sizing is then supported by the reach adjustment system, allowing a rider to fine tune position around personal preference and terrain.
Ride Aligned brings those decisions together. The setup guide can recommend frame size, reach position, progression and anti squat settings, then provide a baseline for handlebar position, tyre pressure, fork pressure, volume spacers, coil spring rate and damping.
Materials Chosen for the Job
Norco pairs an aluminium front triangle with a carbon rear triangle. The aluminium front gives the engineers more freedom to refine geometry, frame features and stiffness, while the lighter carbon rear is tuned for traction and responsive handling.
Race Performance with Practical Servicing
A complex suspension layout still needs to survive race weekends and bike park use. Oversized bearings, purpose built pivot hardware, top hat spacers and external cable routing are designed to keep servicing straightforward. Norco also says no special tools are required, with service kits available to keep the bike running as intended.
Integrated protection includes a dedicated mudguard, frame bumpers and chainstay protection around high impact and high wear areas without blocking suspension movement or service access.
The Team DH Range
The Australian range includes the Team DH 2 RockShox complete bike and a frame kit for riders planning a completely custom build.
