Steep chutes, rough corners and fast changes of direction demand room to move. The new Burgtec Cloud DH Saddle is designed around exactly that, with a compact shape built specifically for downhill riding.
Developed with feedback from Burgtec’s athletes, the Cloud DH was already being ridden to World Cup wins as a prototype. Its shorter, narrower profile is designed to reduce interference as you move around the bike, while carefully positioned padding provides support at key contact points.
Small Details That Make Sense
-
Compact 230 × 126 mm shape: designed to give you more freedom to shift your position.
-
Air foam cushioning: padding focused where riders need it.
-
Water Resistant Does not absorb moisture or mud
-
Cro-mo rails: sturdy construction for demanding riding.
-
Reinforced TPU tabs: added protection for the saddle.
At Yarra Valley Cycles, we like the thinking behind this one. For riders building a downhill bike or refining their setup for race days and shuttle laps, the Cloud DH deserves a closer look. Its appeal is straightforward: a compact shape, purposeful padding and attention to the demands of gravity riding.
